Havergal CofE Primary Academy enjoys close links with the Church of St Mary and St Luke in Shareshill.

We often use the church to support learning by visiting for certain topics, such as exploring baptisms, weddings and the architecture. 

We also hold our services in church for the main Christian celebrations, such as harvest, Christmas and Easter.

Members of the church community also support our learning within our academy. Revd Helen Duckett leads whole school worship once a fortnight and we also have visits from other church members when appropriate. Revd Helen and Sheelagh Worrall are also members of our Local Academy Committee (LAC) who are responsible for holding leaders to account and supporting the academy.
