Government Advice
Mon 04 Jan 2021Good evening,
Following advice that has been announced by the Prime Minister, unfortunately school will not be open to pupils from tomorrow.
School will only be open to vulnerable children and children of key workers. If you fall into this category please arrive at school using the main reception as we will need paperwork to be completed, you should arrive and collect your child/children at the same time you have been arriving and collecting since September.
If you don’t have a child/children that fall into the keyworker or vulnerable category please could we ask that you bear with us as online learning will not be available tomorrow. We will try our very best to get work uploaded onto Google Classroom as soon as possible.
We are all very saddened by this announcement but would like to reassure all our parents and carers that we will continue to offer as much support to your child and yourselves as we possibly can.

Returning to school after Christmas Break
Thu 31 Dec 2020Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope this post finds you all well and that you have enjoyed the Christmas festivities.
You will by now be aware of the Government announcement yesterday regarding the Midlands area moving into Tier 4. Havergal will be open as planned on Tuesday 5th January to all years.
Please can we stress the importance of sticking to the correct arrival and collection times for your child’s bubble. If you have older children, then the younger children should arrive and be collected at the later time.
Please can we also ask that only one parent or carer collects their child/children and that all social distancing rules are adhered to.
Face coverings are to be worn at all times when on school grounds.
Thank you to all parents and carers for their support throughout the Autumn Term, if we all work together and show patience and understanding throughout these very trying times our children will enjoy a safe and enjoyable Spring Term.
