Collective Worship
Collective Worship
Collective Worship is a statutory requirement for all schools in England and Wales. At Havergal C of E primary Academy, Collective Worship is so much more than this. It is a daily opportunity for the school family to come together in a shared time of prayer, reflection, praise, stillness and focus on God.
Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | |
Key Stage 1 | Class Worship | Whole School Worship | Songs and Praise Worship | Class Worship | Whole School Celebration Worship |
Key Stage 2 | Key Stage Worship | Whole School Worship | Songs and Praise Worship | Key Stage Worship | Whole School Celebration Worship |
Our daily acts of worship focus on Christian themes, our core values linked to our school vision, other religion's celebrations and Local/Global issues.
Our local vicar leads worship every other Tuesday in school and we often visit our parish church for our RE lessons, important festivals where we especially enjoy listening and participating in Harvest, Christmas and Easter services. KS2 children perform their Christmas Carol concert and perform their leavers service at church.
