Year 5 Home Learning Support
Hello Year 5!
I hope that you are all well and staying home. This is just a quick message to remind you of all the things that you can be doing at home to continue your learning and help keep your minds healthy and happy. I can’t wait to see you all again and hear about your fabulous learning when we return!
We hope you are working through your home learning packs that you were given. In here you will find a range of Maths activities (Fractions, Multi-step Problems, Multiplying and Dividing by 1000); SPAG activities (Fronted Adverbials, Parenthesis, Relative Clauses); a range of reading activities that you can link to a book of your choice (E.g. finding meanings of words, inferring and predicting); some practical ideas (e.g. following a recipe, designing and creating); and the list of useful activities for other curriculum areas (Science, Geography & Computing).
Suggested Home Learning Timetable
Remember that you will be able to work through many different activities independently. There are LOADS of resources out there but don’t feel pressured to use them all. If something works for you, go with it!
